Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument Rating

To be eligible for Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument Rating, a person must:

A. Hold a current Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating and a Flight Instructor Certificate;
B. Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language;
C. Comply with the applicable requirements.

The following is a breakdown of the flight times, ground instruction times and pre/post flight times that apply for the Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument Rating given by our flight school, which is FAA approved by the United States Government, to train pilots for certificates and ratings. At current prices, this course costs approximately $3,840.00.

2.0 Hours Solo in a C-172 for Flight Test

Misc. Books, Supplies and Tests Fees: $661.00

These are minimum hours required by the FAA.

The student must complete required knowledge tests, stage checks and complete the course in order to graduate.
