To be eligible for an Airplane Multiengine Land Rating, a person must:
A. Hold a current Commercial Pilot Certificate;
B. Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language;
C. Comply with the applicable requirements.
There is no FAA knowledge test for the Airplane Multiengine Land Rating; however, we do give a company knowledge test at the completion of the FAR 141 ground course. The following is a breakdown of the flight times, ground instruction times and pre/post flight times that apply for the AMEL Rating given by our flight school, which is FAA approved by the United States Government, to train pilots for certificates and ratings. At current prices, this course costs approximately $10,126.00.
